Default Air Pump

I have a 91 Mustang GT i was wondering if you can get rid of the air pump and how.

as air pump if you mean smog pump? yes u can remove it just simply un bolt it and plug the vaccume hoses with a rubber plug, and for emissions you do need it because they check to make sure its there, unless of course u have a friend who over looks that, then u can usually pass with some cats and a muffler, but on the ohter hand i have heard people not passing with out it

they don't do emission checks where i live. I justed wanted to make sure there isn't any special thing i had to do. Thanks

you could just leave it there, but not run the belt around it.

i bypassed mine with a 77mm belt part #60770.
