it could be many things, radiator, hose leak, radiator leak.. who knows check everywhere for wet sots, or let the car run for like 15 minutes and check under hte car for leaks.

run your car until it gets hot and then park it and check for water spots on the ground and go from there your cooling system builds up more pressure when the car is turned back when hot

I´ve got the same problem. After a couple of days, the "low coolant" shows and I have to add more water. There are no water spots on the ground and I can´t find any leak at all standing under the car with engine running. There are no problems with moist in the car either and the floor mats are dry.

Oh, and the temp is really low all the time. I recently replaced the thermostat (180) and housing, as it was cracked, but still leaks.

I spoke with a friend of mine who has a -93 Thunderbird with the same 302 engine, and he´s got the exact same problem.

Any good ideas?

The car is a -94 GT
