Car Stutters/Skips, RPMs Drop - HELP!
Hey Gang,
The past few times I have taken my 'Stang out, I have experienced the following:
Cruising on highway at 70 in 5th gear, suddenly, RPMs drop from about 2600 to 2400 (stutters/skips) then back up to 2600 again. Then I was passing someone today, brought her up to about 80-85mph, and the stuttering/skipping went crazy! RPMs were jumping all over the place. What the hell is going on??? It's sort of scary when it happens at highway speeds. Feels like it might die out or something, but it doesn't. I may be paranoid because of all the times the TFI mod went out on me on the highway. I took care of that by relocating it off the dizzy, and it now stays cool, and works like a charm. Any insight on this new issue could be would be greatly appreciated!!!
Specs:
1989 Mustang GT 5 speed, 61,000 miles, bone stock except 3.73 gears, relocated TFI module, upgraded mass air intake, flow master exhaust

Nobody has any ideas on what this could be? I have received some PM's with some possibilities... I was hoping I would get more feedback, but it seems like this problem may not be a common one, and therefore help is limited.
