Default a/c head unit replacement!!

hey i have a 86 gt 5.0. My a/c head unit broke and i need a new one for winter lol. Where can i get a new one? Does any company remake it? I have checked eBay, Craigslist, and a local junkyard. I have a feeling im going to have to expand more on the junkyards but i wanna ask first. any thing will help thanks.

Since you are gonna need to convert to R134 anyway just save your pennies and do it right...

You could leak test and fill an R12 system for way less. There is no "need" to convert it. There's a new type of freon out that works in R12 and R134 systems, kind of a hybrid. It's $10/lb.

Anyway, rockauto.com has a few listings for the individual switches in the panel. They're listed under Electrical-Switch & Relay

lol i should have clearified. i took all my a/c crap out. i need the control switch panel inside the car, where to turn which vents u want, the fan speed, and such. the fan switch and stuff is fine but i need a new panel. my vent bar is broke and only stays on floor and with winter i need it on the windsheild

You dont need a new panel. The switches in the panel are all separate, individually replaceable. Refer to my first post.

i looked on that site and all i could find was the fan switch. I dont need that.
