like the title says my 1992 mustang lx 5 speed has been dieing while going down hill in neutral.Im not too sure what the problem is, the only suspicious thing that has happend is that my coil wire arks out.( i know this because i was checking a wire next to it when it zapped me). any ideas?

Engine cut-offs that can be reproduced by driving on steep inclines are most times related to the fuel tank. Extremely low quantitys of gas can cause it, but fox's are known for having weak baffles in the tank.

i forgot to mention when it dies it does not shake or make noise. all the lights are still on and starts up right away.

Neither of which discount the fact that it's almost surely your tank causing the issue. Your coil problem is just a coincidence, which also needs replacing.

Do not put car in neutral while going downhill...problem solved.
