I think I am having the same problem as the other post, but almost everytime I get into my car, there is a completly random beeping just on and off whenever it feels like, I simply turn the radio up to overcome it sometimes, but i cant take it anymore, my friend has a 94 gt and he has the same problem. Anyone know exactly whats making the noise, i've heard its a factory security feature, airbag, e-brake all different answers. Thanks for any reply

If it is behind the radio / a/c panel , it's probably the airbag control unit. it will beep several times then stop, then beep several times and stop. It usually starts as soon as you turn the key. All you can do is unplug it to shut it up or figure out whats wrong with it. Other than that i don't know, the airbag controller is the only thing other than the ignition that i believe is capable of making a beep.

My 94 GT does that too. Its annoying as all hell but it stops after like 8 reps. Sometimes it comes on again while im driving. I just ignore it.

Oh yeah by the way two guys at the shop I go to have 94s and they both do that too, and a kid that used to go to my school has a 95 and he has the exact same problem. Just ignore it...

Yah, I have that problem, it's for the airbag...

I'm going to try to disconnect it one of these days, I'll let you know how to do it if I succeed...
