You're going to run into some oddball issues trying to go about doing this without matching components. It would be an extremely wise idea to invest in some 94/95 parts instead of trying to pull foxbody parts. The 94/95 5.0s are different for a reason.

With that said the motor you have is fine, but you should get a 94/95 upper/lower intake, front brackets, power steering, alternator, timing chain cover, water pump, and smog pump delete pulley and A/C.

I have the front two brackets I'll give you, all you need to do is pay for shipping if you want them. I have them left over as spares from when I just did my rebuild.

You should also look into getting a 94/95 full wiring harness. It is different than the 93 and back. You can find them on ebay for very cheap.

Then find a 94/95 air intake and throttle body.

Another part you'll need that you don't have will be a 94/95 K member for the 5.0, it is different than the V6 and or later model 4.6L k members if memory serves me correctly.

You can fit foxbody parts in a 94/95 but it is a pain in the butt to say the least. It would probably be cheaper for you to just buy a 94/95 engine assembly than to try to piece it all together.

I know what it's like to be on a budget, but the way you're going is gonna cause a lot of headaches trying to get odd ball parts to fit.

Jthorn, deal just need know what shipping is to 48657. We are still in parts gathering mode, Though the harness was already gathered, and partially run. We are nowhere near assembly yet, still have to rip heads off for another pair, replace oil pump, and cam (all dads insistance). Run drivers side harness, and a ton of other small things. K-member if it presents its ugly head, am sure will get worked out somehow dad dont start many projects and not finish them,.
O.k so waiting on dad to return from chicago at moment, as he called and said he be here soon, and I am not to touch anything on the car at the moment.
First thing I am doing for sure, after I leave this computer is to start cleaning a mess that appeared after I left. Looks as if a tornado hit the inside, and tossed stuff everywhere. Cant walk thru the barn without stumbling into dirt, dust, & car parts.
My Uncle stated something bout the car going to his garage for touchup paint. Not entirely sure though.
On a brief throw a log a in the furnace garage walk, I noticed the bottom end of the 302 is missing its crank. Looked around its not in the barn,hmmm.... Although there is a new stack of parts, among them a new set of "used" headers sitting near car, and my exhaust is completely off car, from front to rear, and laying in front of the garage door. Cats appear to be missing from the pile, hmm....
Transmission is laying near the motor stand, not under a bench I had stashed it at, The v-6 as well is near the front of the door with its trans gone, another hmmm......

on a side note... As our deer season starts tuesday, and runs till end of month, probably wont get very much done in next couple of days let alone weeks. We hunt 4 hrs away at our cabin, which we are leaving Sunday morning to go to, so tonight and a little bit of tomorrow is all I have for time for the rest of this month.
Anyways off to clean the barn, later I will try to post a picture, but definitely not one of this mess.

P.S Motorman thanks for the post bro, way cool, hope your car is coming along well, will check see if any new progress, later when I get done in the barn.

All that BS about finding the parts needed that were only made for 2 years is why I am not converting my wife's 98 to a v8. Instead I am doing a 4.2 stroker with a M90 on top eventually...

Good luck with the rest of it. Its always nice having other people to help out.

Send me a PM with your contact information and I can help you more. I also have a 95 ECU which will work much better with the car. I also have a 94/95 harness that goes from the battery to the alternator. This is a harder part of the harness to find. It's also in really good condition.

Send me a PM and let me know what you want, I'll sell that small part of the harness to you and the ECU for cheap. I just need the stuff to go. I would of sold you the entire intake assembly but I scrapped it instead.

Oh...I also have a stock 95 throttle body.

Just to help you out here are links to the odd ball parts you'll need:
