Default Problems yet again!

So my car has been acting up for the last few weeks, while cruising it would randomly drop 2 or 3 hundered rpm, like a quick miss, then be fine. Well today it died on me. When it died it acted like it had no fuel, the rpm's just dropped to about 3. I've already replaced the wires with Accell, cap, rotor and coil with MSD. So I figured the tfi module went out cause it was the original, so I replaced that but it still doesnt start, it has no spark. Theres power up to the coil but thats it, no power going out from the coil. I picked up a dizzy from a local yard thinking maybe that could be it but it's still the same. I'm thinking maybe the ecm? Any thoughts on what it could be or suggetions? Thanks.

Io the msd coils are crap. I bought one for my car a couple of yrs ago and it died within 2 wks, and you never can be certain with used parts. The dizzy you bought could be bad

I thought that about the coil so I took it back under the warranty, I can't see getting 2 bad ones. I know it's possible just highley unlikely. With the dizzy it's one thing I planned on upgrading, it just wasnt gonna be this week. Lol.

Take the dizzy out, head over to your nearest Autozone, and ask them for part # F122
Receive the part, pay the $20.95, and install it into your dizzy.
Presto chango, you have spark.

How did you go about testing things? This is a very easy process of elimination that can be done in about 5 mins...

power to coil......no power out of coil....I wonder.. but this depends on if you tested things correctly...

Follow the link above and you will find your problem
