you know what he means tho man, in this case, Getting an new upper and lower intake, good brands are trickflow, edlebrock, even cobra upper and lower is better. itll run you about 400 bucks or so depending where you get it. Then you can buy TB and MAF, personally I would buy the MAF first, you wont feel an insane pull or anything but your #'s will increase, then go TB cuz its really not needed on the setup you have right now.

well if he plans on modding his car further which im sure he will then yes there is a reason, for now it wont matter much but its just one less thing hell need to buy in the future.

now lets see if his plans change in the future then you just costed the kid some money. so why not wait to you know what your future holds for modding then worry about a maf. and there isnt any real benefit from having a larger MAF right now. hes better off spendin the 200 some dollars on something else

Get a new ignition system, for better spark, and new spark plug wires. If do plan on getting a new intake manifold and get a new MAF, i would also suggest getting a forced induction. I beleive jcwhitney has some for ur yr, it will hook up to ur air intake and go down ur right front fender, and out ur front bumper, cost about 130 plus shipping. To make sure ur not getting to much air, get a new fuel pump and fuel injectors. fuel pump will run you about 100 plus install, fuel injector will cost u about 200 to 400 depending size, you could get those installed when u do ur intake if u decide to. I am just a beginner to, u know that. So i may be wrong, so if i am someone please correct me, so i dont waste his money, lol

so far everything they are telling you is right. Your car currently has the same size TB and MAF as a stock 94-95 Cobra. Therefore the biggest restriction you have right now is the GT intake which is also used for T-birds. Replace the intake and then get a bigger TB and MAF as you continue to mod.
