you can't put a 2.02 valve in a stock head
just a note..
Low Lift valve flow is extremely important to performance, although it often isn't considered. Low lift flow centers upon the valve seat. If it isn't right, then the flow cannot be initiated properly. Close attention must be paid to the angles which lead up to the seat, and the only way to determine what's right for your combination is via a flow bench. What you have to look for is a valve seat that minimizes reversion (backwards flow) on the intake side. Any seat configuration that promotes early outward flow on the exhaust side is also important. In the end, this simply means that high performance valve jobs shouldn't be left up to the amateur. Hope this helps.<edited><editID>vfast</editID><editDate>37966.4625810185</editDate></edited>

what head do you have E7 ? rule of thumb on stock heads is move up 1 size..then you still have to unshroud the valve..and if they can do a 5 angle valve job will help as will undercut valves(manley pro flow) with help flow 10%+ and tale a lil wt. off as well. since a guess labor is free for like 200-250 in parts should be a decent gain with 1.72 rockers
