Default 94 5.0 header help

I have a 94 5.0 5 speed. My buddy has some longtubes from his 89 fox. was curious as to whether or not I could make these work on my car pretty easily. He also has the h pipe and mufflers with it.

Looking to upgrade from shortys to longtubes but need to know whether or not I can use those longtubes. The underside looks pretty simliar to my old foxbodys but i figured i would get a second opinion on the situation.

All helop is appreciated!

I'm pretty sure you will have fitment issues. I would just go with parts that are for your car.

no, they dont.

myself, onyxcobra and many many others have seen it first hand. Fox headers do not fit SN95's correctly.

I cant comment on the lts but shorties will work.the shorty h n x pipes will not fit though the fox mids are built closer around the tranny and dont clear the linkage. I assume that would be the same for the lts idk, adder is probably right!

shorties will interchange, SN95 ones have a larger ball flange than the fox's

with longtubes, unless you have a TKO/3550 swap etc they will NOT fit.

the T5 clutch fork on the SN95's is in a different location and fox headers literally aim right at it...

a TKO, 3550, T56 etc all use a new bell housing and the fork is in a new spot so then theyll work...

i know for a fact with a 351W swap you can use MAC 1 3/4" - 3" LT's on a 95 GT, so id imagine 302 headers should be the same story...

The bellhousing on the fox bodies is shorter/smaller than the ones on the sn95's. Thats what the transmissions are swap-able but you need to swap out the input shaft for them to work. Hence exactly what yellow said, clutch forks are in different spots then

no the orientation of the fork is the issue, not the distance back from the block

a couple of guys ran into this same problem on the FFR forum building their '33's
