When I'm cruising, let's say around 30-40mph, I can shift thru all the gears ok, but at higher speeds it grinds going in 3rd gear only. If I take off really fast, it'll grind in 2nd and 3rd. Is it the clutch, gearbox or clutch cable?

First make sure your clutch cable is properly adjusted. Where in the pedal height does the clutch start to release/grab?

If so then your trans is worn and will need a rebuild at some point..

sounds like syncros to me

but again...make sure the clutch is adjusted properly. it should start to engage about 1" to 1 1/2" off the floor
