dash/headlights/park lights erratic
Bad start for new member here... just wrote up a long topic only to have the server freeze up and my message disappear. I'll keep this one short in case its just lag in the server, mods please delete this one if it does.
So in short, my dash lights and rear park lights are flickering on and off when I turn on my headlights. Just recently the problem has gotten worse and the top dash clock and dome light are swelling along with the voltage needle quivering. Last time I tried running the car with the lights it killed the car and the battery completely (not even enough power left to use the power locks).
This is after I recently replaced the headlight switch after having this issue. The problem initially went away after I replaced the switch, but it is now back with the above issues. When I replaced it, the harness connector block was a bit burnt up. I just now ordered a new harness connector hoping this will fix the issue. So I'm hoping maybe someone has had this exact issue and can confirm that the issue is a switch/connector issue.
