I've read in some reviews of this intake that it has clearance issues with the distributor. Has anyone here had any problems? Everybody here seems to dig it and I figure the price can't be beat. Is it just as good as the cobra, gt40, edelbrock performer? It seems like it, but any suggestions are appriciated.

I did consider that. I have heard such wildly different opinons on them that I didn't know what to think. Some praise, others shun. I hate to just "buy a name" but consistant quuality is important.

I have also heard that the proffesional producs have extra hardware for installation. No specifics but why buy something you gotta mess with all that crap for? </P>
