Default Any pics of dash pull?

I have a project coming up. I am going to be pulling my T5 and rebuild it to z spec. I will also be replacing my floor pans and heater core.

Since I have have to strip the interior to replace the floor pans, I figured I would install a new heater core while I already have most of it out.

From what I've seen, it isn't really hard to pull the dash back a little to replace the heatercore. It is just time consuming.

My question is, would it be much more difficult to actually finish pulling the dash out? It would make the floor pan install that much easier to do and I wanted to put some sound deadener down and some going up the firewall.

Does anyone have pictures of when you pulled your dash out? I looked at all the photos on LRS's write up regarding the heater core replacement, but I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of the whole pedal assembly and any difficulties with the pedals. I'd appreciate seeing them if you got any. Thanks.

The dash comes out without touching the pedals. I had to pull the dash out more than a "little" when I did my heater core.

Make sure you don't pinch any wires between the dash frame and car body when reinstalling... otherwise you have yourself a nice short circuit.

As stated above you don't need to pull the pedal assembly.
Hopefully this helps with what you asked for?

And this should help you remove all the hidden screws to completely remove the dash.

Thanks, that is great. It doesn't seem difficult at all. I'm wondering why so many threads I've read said this job was a pita.

I've had the entire cluster assembly and center console out of the car in less than 30 mins before.

Thanks for the picture and link. I saved it so I don't forget any.
