also depending how many miles on your tranny!! Very important because if it has over 100k by installing shift kit, higher stall cnvrter, tranny cooler kiss that sucker GB in less than a year!!! Also run your tranny cooler alone, DO NOT run it thru the radiator, why., well what happines when your motor heats up.....

Thats why I would rather have the new tranny. Mine is pushing 130k,and I do not know what has been done to it. Car is bone stock but Im the 3rd owner now, and I have come across some shotty crap already,done by the previous owners. I will be posting some pics for ???'s later but I will show you some of the crap I have run into.

Well the one way to know if the trans filter has ever been changed...when you drop the pan it will have a little plastic plug just floating around. That is the plug used from the factory that plugs the dipstick hole. They factory just pushes it into the pan when they install the dipstick.
