I just bought a 92 5.0 gt. The guy I bought it off had the motor rebuilt. He put a bigger cam, 70mm mass air and bbm throtle body with an after market intake. He also put a cold air intake headders and new pipes out the back. The car will go through the gears pretty good but at a steady speed it bucks and runs like **** until you give it more gas. Will a tuner fix this or what. He said he never had it hooked up to one. Thanks any help will be great..

Run the codes. Don't look at buying parts until you know what is wrong. Otherwise you are just wasting money.

I cant find anyone in lafayette la who has a computer to read this year car. This is my first fuel injection hot rod so I am clueless why?

You might think its dumb but oh well, check the timing. With it having a cam (presuming its not an alphabet cam) they fudge up the timing all sorts of ways. Just play around with the distributor retarding and advancing it til you get your power where you want it.

i second this. also run the codes. timing being off even by one tooth can do interesting things
