tail light lens fix question

You can use Silicon if you want to reseal the lens to the housing, the only problem with that is if you ever have to replace the lens.
From the factory they used Butyl Rubber Sealant, which is just about the same as the 3M Windo- Weld.

Or you can get a taillight lens repair kit which has the Butyl Rubber Sealant and the clips for the rear taillight lens.
