have you checked out http://www.trickflow.com? they are , IMO, the best. what you do depends on the money you got. look into underdrive pulleys, longtubes w/ o/r h-pipe, intake, heads are expensive (but put down a lot of power), cam is a good idea (but wait till you get heads), TB, intake, don't forget blower!</P>
guys, imagine a blown and fully built up 347 stroker inthat miata w/ nitous! now that would be scary<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">. i would rather put it into a focus though, i hate imports.</P>

Focus is a POS. Miatas have a long history of being excellent cars. Plus the focus has a roof, is FWD, and well they look like fleas.
Miata is a sick easy transplant. Not sure what I'm going to do about the rear - they usually use a 7.5" IRS, which I guess would be fine.
I haven't seen that Volvo, but perhaps ten years ago in the Autotrader I saw an old 242 or something coupe with a 305 chebby. Pretty funny.
