Default 2000 Regal GSE Beat a 99’

Now im an avid Mustang driver and owner. I was driving my friends 2000 Regal GSE and had a 99' Gt creaping on me. It was one of the first nights where you could actually run the cars with out worrying about spinning out cause of snow or ice. Now me getting that itch to get the car out for racing decided to mess with this kid. At the point when he was starting to pass me we were at about 50 mph, and I wasn't gonna let him go. I got on it put the car into performance shift and mashed it. I ended up flying past him and had about a car length ahead of him. Then the closest he got was to my bumper. We got to the next light and of course he beat me off the line, but once again I was by him. I finally had him pull over and we were just talking, he had a flowmaster exhaust on it, cold air intake from bbk, tri ax shifter with 3:73's in the rear. Now my take on this is that he cant drive the car, cause you knew he was on it cause you could hear it rumbling. The GSE is a eaton supercharged 3800 V6 and front wheel drive. The scary thing is my friend hasn't done anything to this car yet. So this kinda has me wondering with my 92'with limited mods is this car gonna take me in a 1/4? It is about 30 more HP than what mine is. Anyone have any takes on this feel free to let me know.
