I was running 8.5 in the eight mile. Cutting the coil springs is not a good mod for driveing the car on the street, because it is very soft. If I wanted an all around drive, drag, road course car I would get the coil over shock conversion. It has more adjustability. My mustang was a strip car in progress. I basically put all the bolt-ons I could besides forced induction, nitrous, or heads. BTW I ran 3.73 gears, and I tied the sub frame togeather. Hope this helps.

i had the C springs and then sold them after i went with a tubular K member. i liked them for what they were

did cutting the springs affect the ride quality? do you know any one who cut them all 4?.....what bolt-ons you got?...and what's your 1/4 times

I had an 89 gt that I cut one coil off the top of the stock coil springs. With a set of lake wood upper and lower control arms, leaveing at 4200 rpm dumping the clutch I was pullung 1.69 sixty footers.......Not bad for a bone stock block and heads with bolt-ons.But I never cut the front to match ride height so it sat down a little in the back.
