Default Airbag light on in dashboard.....not blinking....just on....
Whats this mean? Its ALWAYS been on, never turns off. Never blinks. No noise. My car was in a front end accident a long time ago, based on its background check.....I have never worried about it, never bothered with it. I assume it may be because the bag has deployed before, and its just on because the steering column has been replaced, or repaired after the front end accident years ago?

If the air bag light is on, it means your system has a fault and they will not deploy. It may be because of the accident, say if the sensors were never replaced then they are bad and would cause it.
