Default T-top experts need help

I currently own a 88 gt t-top . Here is my problem it is one of the rare one's that has the mirrors on the door like verts do and not up in the corner . I bought the Car with the drivers side window not going all the way up didn't think much of it just figured I would line it up when I got a chance , well I tried doing it and I still have a gap of about a 1.5-2" at the top and I have the window lined up as high as I could get it . Did they make a specific glass for this car or is it the same as any vert glass ? Any help would be appreciated

That's weird that your doors are that style of mount, mines an 88 with them in the corner. I have read it's different, which sucks for me as I need a driver side window..

It is very weird from what little info I have found on 88 t-tops is that the ones with the corner mirrors where left overs from 87 and sold in the first half of the year and the ones with the mirrors on the door are the second half of the year. I am guessing they put vert glass in mine not being able to replace it with the right glass . I guess I have to deal with it or get a custom piece made

I'd contact http://www.prestigemustang.com/ and there's other Mustang salvage yards that might have the glass.

Your windows line up with no gaps at the top ? Do they leak at all ?
