Default Re-installing EGR in 1994 Mustang GT

My 94 GT has a new motor (306) with TFS heads, Stage 2 cam, and intake as well as other supporting mods - CAI, TB, exhaust, 3.73 gears, suspension, and a couple other small things. I had a shop do the engine swap and it seems like everyday I'm finding little things they missed (either on accident or otherwise).

I live in an area where emissions inspections are required and the EGR was removed during the swap. I've been doing a lot of searching on this site, but most threads are about the EGR delete. The benefits of keeping the EGR seem to outweigh the benefits of removing it (especially since emissions are required where I live). So... assuming that I'm starting from scratch - i.e. they completely removed everything to do with the EGR - what parts would I need in order to reinstall? I have the EGR valve itself and the pressure feedback sensor. I would also need the vacuum solenoid and a new gasket. Any other actual parts I would need? How about lines or hoses?

I'm happy to provide more info if necessary.

Thanks!

take a pic of what you got so we can see how much is missing, but since you have a sn-95 you will need to have a provision for one on the headers to draw exhaust gases from and the piece of pipe that connects to the egr valve as well as the vaccum lines to egr and selonoid, at least I think the sn-95 is simialar to a fox in the way it supplies vac to the valve.

It looks like everything is gone. I found an electrical connector, which I assume goes to the EGR, but that's about it. I'll take a picture tomorrow and post.

well for one, in the elbow they have blocked off where the egr mounts, you'll need to remove the plate and install the valve there and does the header on that side have a provision for a egr tube to screw on to one of the header runners?? if not you'll need 94-95 specific headers

Yeah, I saw the block-off plate on the elbow. I have BBK shorty headers and it looks like there is a provision for the EGR tube. Right now it looks like it's capped off with a nut on top of the connection. I double checked and the wiring harness looks like it's the one that should connect to the pressure sensor.

So I guess my remaining questions are what about the EGR vacuum solenoid? And I'm just confused as to what other vacuum lines are involved other than the EGR tube.

if you need emissions testing done, they will look to see if your CEL works, and if it is on. I wouldnt worry about the EGR not being there. I would be more concerned if it has cats or not.

I've already been told by a couple shops that the EGR needs to be there in order for it to pass. There's no CEL light b/c it's been tuned out.

did you point it out to them? I know for a fact that if you rolled into my inspection station, nobody would notice.
