I'm running the Track Heats on my stock bottom end 302 and i highly recommend them.
If i read right, the high ports are inline heads and the t/w heads are offset thus calling them twisted wedge.
I went with these heads because i could use the "E" cam as well as have the 2.02" valve with 1.6 rockers.
If you plan on staying with the stock displacement without a power adder then you should think about using the 1.94" valve.
In all though,, These heads were the best add on i could buy as power goes.
With these heads i gained 40rwhp over aluminum gt40x heads proffesionally assembled by Pande's performance.

You wont be dissapointed.

Say what?!!! You gained 40hp over the GT40X heads?! Is this ture? I've been seriously considering the GT40X heads, but maybe not if the Track Heats are really that much better...

angcobra what do you mean by match the pistons to the cam? I run a stock bottom end and they are supposed to be good with the stock pistons. im just worried about p/v clearince with my cam

tw 2.02 valves will work fine with a stock bottom end dont worry. I think you can go as big a an F cam without having any issues. I dont know about the .522 lunati in your sig. though

The twisted wedge name comes from the shape of the combustion chamber. Also the ports are in their stock locations... that is why you wont need new headers for these heads. The high port heads have the ports angled differently than t/w's... thus new or special headers are required as the ports would cause the headers to be misaligned with the rest of the exhaust when bolted onto the head.

I was not reffering to the ports being different. The valves are slightly rotated and angled for better combustion in the chamber. Also the sparkplug is moved toward the center of the chamber for the best possible placement.
The high ports are inline heads but the exhaust ports are raised 3/4". Also, according to the site they say most headers should still work.

These numbers were done with a tune specific to the parts i have. with the GT-40 heads i was using a 75mm bullet mas air meter,30lb injectors, and an fmu with my supercharger. That gave me 360rwhp.
I went with an 80mm plastic meter from pro-m,42lb injectors with no fmu,and the track heat heads. With yet another dyno tune it took
me to 401 rwhp but he decided to run it a little more rich for safety. So it trully gave me 31rwhp in the end.
My intake is a box stock cobra intake and that is restricting my combination right now.

The TW heads align the valves a bit different than the normal straight arrangement. If you have a cam with lift and duration that require valve reliefs in the pistons, they have to be pistons with reliefs for the twisted configuration. The documentation with the TW heads gives limits on lift and duration before you need the reliefs in the pistons.
