Default a/c delete

i searched the forums but couldnt find anything, i took out the a/c and the smog pump, was wondering what size belt everyones running like this

Take a string and run it around the pullies then measure the string. Thats what size belt you need. Or just go to your auto parts store and ask them.

actually ive never seen anyone succesfully bypass the ac compressor. you will most likely have to get an a/c delete kit.

I've heard you can bypass the ac but then you gotta move the power steering pump to where the ac used to be.

belt is a 74 inches and 6 ribs if u have the ford a/c relocation kit

I left my power steering where it was and used a 82.5' belt

you just have to be creative with the routing.
heres how I routed mine.

the only drawback is with underdrive pulleys, to put the belt on, you need to take out the lower power steering bolt and rotate it in a little then pry up the tensioner and put the belt on the alternator. then to put the bolt back in you need to pry on the tensioner( I use a pry bar and hold it with my head) and pry on the power steering pump while trying to get the darn bolt back in.
