What do you guys think about an 82 Hood Scoop on my car? Then i wouldnt need a cowl hood and could buy my spacer and valve covers sooner.

I'm kinda undecided on this one - I dont think it would look right on your car but there are the benifits of not having to buy a cowl hood. If you like how it looks then I would for sure go for it.

DUDE!!!!! thats ugly scoop if you have the funds get a real hood cowl

Good idea if you use something like a Boss 429 scoop that big enough to be functional. You could seal the carb to that and pick up .10-.15 real easy......

I Used to own a 82 gt, until my buddy rolled it on it's roof. Needless to say the car is gone.

The 82 was a sharp nice outside body and the front end looked "Mean/Bad ***" But I would only say when they were all back entire car blacked out. Maybe I'll post a pic later.

82 stang - nice decent only one I liked until 87-93


But ya what I would say is Great Idea about the hood scoop as it was one trademark on that car that was wicked but it just wouldn't look right on these newer gt's. My thoughts anyway and I owned a 82 and currenly have a 1991.

i have seen one on an 83 but it was turned around the other way the opening in the back, that would look better IMO

ive seen them on euro foxes like ours and i like it. its a nice clean touch

wow thats exactly how i want to paint my 82 only im gonna use a ligit paint gun instead of a krylon spray bomb haha but yeah the hood scoop looks good on my pickup and always give a nice touch of factory ford bling lol
