egr delete plate and spacer question

i got a 95 gt was woundering if i do away with the egr so i even need the spacer or can i just bolt the tb str8 to the intake? if so r there any advantages of the spacer or any advantage of bolting the tb str8 to the intake

welp i dont know what i was think my mustang tb just bolts right to the intake anyways
