Default 89 Mustang GT suddenly dies including all power to car.

Hello, I have a 89 Mustang Gt. It only has 59k on it. I recently replaced the fuel filter, gas tank, battery, and starter solenoid. When I start up the car it will run a bit and then just die. Engine and all the power, like someone removed the battery. Sometimes it will do it when I am cranking it up. I replaced the battery with another new one and it still does it. If I disconnect the battery for a while come back and hook it up it will work again for a while. Any ideas?

Thanks
Brian

Just to clarify, I have no power after it shuts off. No lights, radio, etc.

Check where the positive batt cable attaches to the solenoid for a loose connection.

Ah. Ok. Do a wiggle test. Have someone sit in the car with the key on, and you go out and wiggle the large power wires until you can induce the problem. One of them is loose/broken.
