maf conversion

Default maf conversion

i am getting a maf from a 93 cobra with the computer and everything, the maf sensor has been flashed for 24# injectors, is the computer ok or should i get something else?????????????

dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!

cobra comps arent the best for tuning, their 70mm mafs are 24 to begin with

just pass this one buy and do teh conversion for cheap

find a comp, find a maf sensor with some wires and get some ECU pins. and wire it up yourself. it only took me about an hour to do mine. thats with soldering the wires also

I always thought a cobra computer would be better too, till I got one and put it in.
the only benefit was it idled smoother, it actually made my car slower.
and when I decelerated it went waaay lean and popped out the exhaust.

I'm guessing from the year of your car (88) u r going from SD to mass air. U can get a comp, harness, and MAF from any 89-93 mustang except 93 cobra with the same type of tranny as yours.

So all is needed for a MAF swap is a computer and MAF sensor and some wires? Will that make it legit? Do you just splice the wires in?

you lengthen them some and move afew pins around then add afew pins. took me about an hour to do mine. mine also had no interior in it. i posted a link before on how to do it
