Ok so i have a set of gt40p heads and intake for my 94 mustang. Before i plan to put these on i was trying to figure out a good cam for a daily driver. I keep reading about people putting tfs 1 cams in some people say they are good some say they have had some trouble. If i put that cam in what rockers should i run? Also do i need to tune my car after install or could i just buy a sct eliminator chip and just tune it that way? thanks for the help guys

I run that cam with 1.6 svo rockers but along with twisted wedge 170 heads. After the install the car ran like crap and was hardly able to get around with it. I orderd the SCT chip from american muscle(bama tuning) and then it was just barely driveable but still had issues. It got me to the tuner and then he was able to dial it in and now its runnin like a champ. Do the install and hope for the best but keep some cash aside for a tune if you need it. I would also recomend some aftermarket gauges to show what is really going on with the motor if you are going to be running it out of calibration. I saw how my car was getting hot enough that the computer was pulling timing to try and cool it and the temp gauge was only half way... The computer dumbs them down alot and if you want to be sure to know what is going on then it will be worth your time/money.
