Well its time for a rebuild and i could just do a bore to 306 and change the rings, pistons, etc.. or i can do the 327 stroker or the 331 all for around the same price. So which one should be best for a car that drives about 5 out of seven days a week and likes to race occasionaly?

Why couldn't you do a 347 for the same amount of money?
Seems the 331/347 debate never does go away. If I were to do it I would go 347 as there is still nothing like cubic inches when on the raceway.....

I would think that if you can do some of the work yourself that the price would be well under that.
One thing for sure, get the thing balanced, lots of those kits are not balanced at all.
