how much rubbing?
ok i have cobra r 17x9 wheels and have converted to 5 lug with the sn95 rear end. the tires are 245 45 17 .. i havent put the rims on yet but how much rubbing am i expected to have in the rear since the width of the rear end is wider?

Well, I just went thru the 5 lug conversion myself (went with 15" wheels) and had considered the same wheels you mentioned. Let's see how my memory serves me here.
From what I recall, the stock backspacing on the Pony wheels is around 4 3/4". The backspacing on the Cobra wheel is about 5 3/4".The SN95 rear axles are longer (forgot how much longer). If they're an inch longer than the stock axles, then you "should" have no problems putting the Cobra wheels on the back.
For the front, because of the deeper backspace of the Cobra wheel, I would say you will need about a 1/2" to 1" spacer to keep the tire off the strut. And be careful how big a tire you run on the front. A friend of mine put 17" on his 88 GT, and he had some tire rub issues on the fenders if he turned the wheels kinda sharp
