Default Full timing for pump gas 331 stroker engine?

Hi fellas. I have a pump gas(10:6 compression) 331 stroker motor. Was jus wondering what full timing is. Ive heard 33,34,35,36. Im going to spray a 150 shot of nitrous to it and i wanna kno where to take my 2 degrees out from and b safe.

You take two motors built exactly alike, there is a good chance they will run better on different timing settings.

No one can accuratly tell you what timing you need. You need to take the car to the track. Start low and raise the timing until it slows down....or pings.

start with 30-32 total to be safe then slowly bump it

I run my 347 at 36 total and with a 50 shot 30.

How the heck do you guys run so much timing? My fox has trouble with 15 degrees.

They're talking about total timing, not base.

Quick question. They say that you can spray a 100 shot of nitrous on full timing and then take out two degrees per 50 shot after so y 6 degrees for you?

probably the difference between a wet & dry system, or he's just leaning on the side of caution, which I don't particularly advocate against when using n2o.
