Front strut install ?
I am putting lakewood 70\30's on my car. Do I need a spring compressor, or can I put a jackstand under the frame, jack up under the spring to put a load on it and swap out the strut? Will I need an alignment after the new struts are installed...my buddy said I will?

If you do it right you won't have to take the spring out. Sit the car on jack stands and take the jack and jack up the A-arm to releive the pressure. Take all the strut bolts loose................. replace and reverse!
