Hey everyone, I had to buy a new fan cuz the stock one cracked, the only replacment they had at my local Auto parts store was a steel flex fan so I baught it.
K for some reason I couldnt line up the bolts to the fan bebecause the shroud was in the way so I took it off, Is it a good idea to leave it off?

not really, it helps direct air from the fan towards the radiator, without it air just kinda blows all over the place. So in traffic your car will start to get kind of hot. You can live without it

you may experience over heating issues without it. use the shroud unless you are Efans

Ill try again tomarrow, I hate the sound that damn fan makes. I might even go to the junk yard and pick one up from there.

Yep, the fan shroud is important. Your stang in your sig looks nice, why not go with an electric one?? It is an easy mod and will net you a few extra ponies.

Thank you, I donno why I havnt decided on electric, but ima see if I can get that shroud back on tomarrow morning.
