Question 94 5.0 stall problem

just got car today. runs fine till you put into gear. then it stalls. its auto.. when you give it some good gas its fine but just crusing it runs ruff..?kid i got it from said $40 part. any idea's what to try first

well today i replaced the egr sensor. car does not stall at stop any more but still holds idle for 30 sec.s after u rev. then drops back. and still runs smooth in idle and rev. but when driving with out with out overdrive in low rpm i get what seems to be miss fire prob not but just the best i can explain it

might try plugs n wires next and new dist.cap.

i do get a back fire here n there when i start it but not while driving and there are cherry bomb mufflers dont no if that would be a issue

those vacuum lines even go under dash and are very hard to find problem i hear.. is this true
