i think..that in the way u say it is....ders grinding noise from th starter only during cold temp. n starting it...cuz i cant still pic this problem...ok....so wen the engine is running rev it for couple of times....still making some noise or just by starting it?....wel...just a suggestion...if u took it out....check if the starter n the flyhweelare touching if not thats yur grindness n noise cuz probably its loose...as i said im not sure...n the high pitch noise is the starter..have u ever heard a starter with out a flywheel attached?...thats pretty noisy cuz lots of torque from that starterto turn that flyhweel...so...check it...</P>

or just a clearance between the flywheel n starter...try to make it sure that its tight n there is sufficient clearance between the two.
