best $700 mod
I jus got paid and figure Im going to dump some money into the stang. I know with it right now theres a **** load of things restricting it really bad. Previous owner said its easily capable of very high hp numbers with the bottom end he put in it. I just dont know where to start. I was biddin on a Edelbrock Performer RPM on ebay tonight but I didnt get the minimum bid. Am I best off to buy like a tb and a mass air flow sensor or go ahead and get a intake manifold? Also the money is in CAD so thats about 580 or so USD.

well if u havent already changed the cam, i owuld definitly chaneg that... i would go with a e-303 fordracing cam, reuse stock lifters. FMS-M-6250-E303 $165.88..The get some ford racing roller rockers. FMS-M-6564-A50 $209.95. and bbk throttle body BBK-1503 $199.88.. i think u would see about a 40-60hp gain on these mods.. the cam will really open your motor up.. And teh best thing to do is order all of ur stuff through summitracing.com... everything is free ground shipping, all you have to pay is a smal 8 buck handlin fee.. its worht it.. good luck with your car man

damn i like those bullet mufflers they sound so mean..anyways i didn't see a throttle body on your mods list. or i would say gears, electric fan, msd ignition, or some where along those lines. what injectors do you have?

you might see a oticable gain if you put some chambered uffs on there.. i had 2 1/2 ich bullets on my car and changed them because i didnt like the idle one.. it sucked! ahah but when you got on it omgg it was sick.. espcially with my headers and o/r hpipe! =) but after i put my flowmasters on it had like so much better tone i i felt a noticable difference in power because of more back pressure..

Im thinkin of doing the gears first thing in the spring, but now I think Im going to buy some magnapacks off of ebay, I finally found some 
, but after that I was thinkin mabe carbon fiber euro tails, or a tb and maf. Im going to just keep saving and hopefully a cam and intake and gears nex summer. But I live in Canada so I have to end up payin for shipping from Summit sadly. But **** do those bullets sound mean, Im going to hopefully get some clips. Would now still be a bad or not the most efficent time for a cam?
