Yea i had a beater for my focus as well. The thing got so bad i eventually let it go and sold it. I'm pretty decent at driving in snow but we'll see how much money i have after i buy the thing then maybe. Actually the person I sold the focus to is going to be selling a geo metro soon. Maybe i'll pick that up.

Exactly, but an escort or somethin with good heat 4 cylinder, hell the money you'll save in gas too could be another mod on your stang in the spring

Yea my dad puts a few 80lb bags of solar salt in the bed of his truck. I may put 1 or 2 in the back of it if it comes down to driving in the snow.

Edit: The big issue is the insurance. My company rapes me b/c when i first got my license i drove like a *** and wrecked a few cars. I just got done paying 1,900 for full coverage on a 2 door focus hatchback in a year. That came down from 2,200 a year. It should'nt be to bad not having full coverage on the mustang but i'm still thinking 1,000 a year w/o full coverage. So i guess i can get a beater...?

Yea it really is ashame that there can't be alot of other refineries up the east coast or something so if and in this case when something like this happens it does'nt take out 90% of them.
