Default Which Clutch Should I buy?

I am about to start modifying my 92' 5.0 5-speed but first I need to buy a clutch. There are alot of kits out there, but I want to buy the centerforce dual friction clutch kit. Can I use this clutch on my stock 5.0 until I get some serious horsepower? Or which clutch do you recommend?

Need your advice...

right now on my 95 im just using the king cobra clutch kit with no problems, but my neighbor runs spec stage 2's and 3's in his mustangs and there a pretty serious clutch fo what ever you wanna do, u can get a light weight flywheel while ur at it, or if u dont want to spend the money make sure u atleast get your flywheel turned (napa, autozone, checkers, carquest) just about anywhere will do it

Your On the right track Man. Centerforce dual fricton all tha way.

I had King Corba in my stock engine and it lasted 3 years decent clutch, but changed engine to 306 about 310 ponys to the wheels and i went with a center force dual fricton, in fact afew buddys I know with 347 strokers pushing 400 ponys and other stang 500 ponys to the wheels are using this same clutch and they still working wicked even after afew seasons multiple track runs.

Go Centerforce dual fricton I did and it's a decent heavy duty clutch.

I agree too...

The best clucth out for a street/strip bolt on stang is the CF DF. They have the best pedal feel and hold enough power for 99% of the cars out there.
