Unhappy Got a tp sensor question

Okay, first I want to say hi to everybody. I am new to this forum and glad to be a part of it. Heres my specs since I havent got all my stuff filled out yet. 92 Mustang gt. Stock block, Mild ported gt40p heads, Mild comp cam, forgot specs, Trick Flow Track Heat intake, 70mm bbk tb, and spacer, 15/8 bbk longtube headers, bbk h-pipe, 373 gears. just a mild setup. I installed the new tb and spacer, set my tp sensor to .98 along with idle using the proper procedures. Dis-connected negative battery terminal to reset computer. Hooked up neg terminal, started car. Ran awesome for 2 months. No problems. Last week I started car to go to work, ran fine. Later that afternoon I headed home and car started stalling and engine light came on. Pulled codes when I got home and I got a code for 63 and a hard fault 98. Checked my salt and pepper shakers, no loose wires or burnt terminals. Had no problems before. Headscratcher is what I got. Any ideas? Thank you for your time.

hard fault 98 is caused by the STO(self test output), continuity didn't check out.

Check continuity between pin 4 of that image and pin 17 at the computer, Pink/Light green wire. Anything above 5 ohms, and you've got a minor problem. The job of this wire is to allow you to use a test light or analog volt meter to check for codes right through the STO port, instead of counting MIL flashes.

63 is a TPS code, signal voltage is less than allowable minimum value.
possible causes:
sensor not tightened down
faulty sensor
open or grounded harness
bad ecm

Thumbs up

Its odd, I did my koer and koeo tests a couple weeks ago and only got a code for my tp out of adjustment. After I fixed it I got an 11 and 111 after I reset everything and took it for a drive. My egr valve was making a weird whistling noise so I changed it out for a new unit along with the egr position sensor. Now engine idles like crap. Sputters, idles up and down, loads up and runs weird. Sputters going down the road and MIL goes on and off. This is my daily driver, sux going to work. Once it warms up, runs great. Its bad because I'm a mechanic by trade and never have time to work on my own car lol!!!

No vacuum leaks, ground cable on back of engine hooked up, new tp sensor set at .98 idle. Goes up when throttle opened. May have a bad terminal on test plug for 4. I'll re-pinn it and re-check.

Okay I re-set the computer by disconnecting the neg battery terminal, then I took it for an aggressive drive to the store. I pulled out of my road easy, then hit the gas hard, the car blistered the tires. When I went into second gear, the engine tried to die then come back too and the MIL came on. Did fine all the way to 140mph and MIL went off. Felt like all the power was there. Got to the gas station to fill up. As soon as I pulled up to the pump, the car started idleing up and down and straightened out and MIL came back on. Stayed on till I got home. Did it again not as bad when I pulled into the driveway.
