Default please help I have an ignition mess

Started a "tune-up" and reseal of the intake manifold on my 1984 carbed mustang. Tune -up included new plugs, wires, dist cap. rotor button, spark modulator, coil, and electric control module. I found that a previous owner hacked a chevy module in. I bought the right one and weeded through diagrams and miles of correct and hacked spaghetti and I still can't get it to start. I am pretty confident that it's in there right. I triple checked everything. There is spark, there is gas, it turns and cranks. I am at a loss. Any ideas? Been at this for a week and a week ago it ran fine.

spark + fuel + compression = running ......unless ...Was the dizzy out? Are you sure you got the intake sealed back up again? No vacuum = fuel not being pulled out of carb.
Somthing changed. Do you get any kind of effort at all by the engine to try and fire?
Maybe you got the wires mixed up on the ignition module.

Distributor almost has to be out. Try pouring a small amount of fuel into the carb and if it doesnt fire, distributor.

When I had my 83gt I ran into a similar problem. I did a tune up and wires shortly after I bought it. After I was done it would not start. Long story short, I found out the HO motors are wired differently than the regular 302. Good luck on finding the problem.
