Default helicoil removal on front of heads

i just switch over to some ported e7te heads and the new heads don't have the helicoil insert that my previous heads have. is there a way to remove it myself with a special tool? does a machine shop have to do it? or can i buy a helicoil insert to fit there for my accessories to bolt on?

i know e7te's aren't worth it but thats all i could afford right now (before anyone starts with their opinions about the heads)

just go down to a parts store and take the bolt with you that came out of that hole so they can match it up for you.

I have them in stock and ready to ship. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help out.

Im guessing that by what jarrod posted you mean the thermactor plugs. If so just got get some 5/8"-11 bolts and screw them into the ports and be dont with it. Now if you need those holes for mounting locations then what jarrod has would be the best thing to roll with.

I need the helicoil that goes where the long power steering bolt bolts onto the head. its to mount the accessory brackets. the bolt it self seems to be a 1/2 in bolt but it won't bolt onto the head unless it has the heli-coil insert installed.

I have the thermactor plugs installed already. no need for those.

Ok these are the same for the front and rear. This is a replacement for the insert used on the front ports for accessory mounting bolts.

I cant think of anything else on the head where you could need something else. Everything else is tapped directly for the head, or sealed off.
