Lets start with hello and thanks for any help that flows my way ..my problems... it will miss if i hold steady at 1000 to 2000 but if i accelerate harder no miss at all and also this will be a stupid question when letting off the pedal mass popping through the exhaust sounds as if its loading up hard ..ok the car 5.0 of course bored .040 gt 40 heads ported big mainly exh little e cam holley sys upper and lower cl mass air with 24lbs inj.. msd ign coil and dizzy and all the normal add ons cai headers etc..but also have the sct 4 bank eliminator chip ...plugs are burning clean tps is in the right volt range iac is clean I am just a little lost

hate to say it but the MSD ignition stuff is likely the cause. They're crap.

ok ..really there crap what works better i have never had a problem with them in the past but this is my first ford and really like it so am listening

I have no personal experience with them myself, but in the time I've been here, I've seen them as the culprit of just about every ignition problem there is. I'm sure others who have been here or on other boards similar to this for quite some time will agree. For some reason, the quality of their electronics are subpar to other brands.
