Only need extensions with long tubes. Check for exhaust leaks with a bottle of soapy water after you install the h-pipe. BBK did a sucky job on my X-pipe and there were pin holes(pores) in their welds. I had to fix them.

I noticed when I switched my wiring around and had a tube k-member installed that replacement Bosch o2s had long enough wires to reach without the extenders. Might be something too look into if you have old o2s. Dont know if the k-member is needed or just rerouting the wiring.

Extensions are only needed with long tube headers.

^^^ What they said. The O/R pipe has the sensors in the stock position. My cheap Summit brand 2.5" O/R H-pipe fits great and has never leaked.

Im running BBK longtubes. I had the extenders installed with the stock k-member but when I switched it to a tube and changed the wire routing I was able to do away with the extenders.
