power window not going up
 

Ive read a few other threads about it but nothing seems to work. I've got the panel off, and i've tried hitting the door around the motor with a hammer and still nothing. I know the switch is getting power, and it worked fine yesterday. The passenger side still works as well. I'm not hearing the motor turning or anything though. any clues?

ok, well finally got it working. I was knocking the door in the wrong spot, worked like a charm. I did however replace the panel retainers on the door panel while it was out. I'll have ot say i'm disappointed in the quality of the panel, just a thin piece of fiberboard. Oh well, she's good to go now.

you should have clean the motor as this is a likely problem

i sprayed a decent amount of WD-40 all over it and its been working great ever since, even when completely at the bottom.
