My 1995 5.0L automatic Mustang shifts out of overdrive, then right back into overdrive after 3 seconds or so, during highway driving. I can predict at what spot it will happen. At times it happens only once and at other times it happens every few miles.

Please advise.

Are you maintaining a certain cruise speed or not? Since it is electronic and relies on a number of readings to know when to shift, then if you are right on a certain speed/load then it can freak out and shift in and out of OD, other than that you could have a problem with the button on the shifter itself, or OD could be going out!

Check for codes from the transmission and go from there!
