Balancer Trouble

I would worry about boiling an elastomer balancer Duncan because it would also be heating the rubber strip, changing the properties of it, & possibly cause an early failure down the road. A fluid damper might survive boiling, providing it didn't blow up the oil chamber. Rear axel carrier bearings & axel bearings yes, that's been done for years, because they're all steel & no rubber. Hmmm.. I wonder if Obama sent some of his illegal aliens over to Summit to write their instructions.

**edit* I apologize for my cruel words. I've always gotten good stuff from Summit, always.... however this country has gotten crappy service from obama & his socialists minions, so I'm not going to edit that part out :-)

Another reason not to hammer on the balancer is that you can really raise hell with the thrust bearing on the crank.
I agree with GT Katie about Obama......
