Default Need help and suggestions

I have a 91 GT that i had got about a couple months ago im not real happy with the set up it has on it. Im wondering if whats on it is good or should be swapped out for something better.
-Stock block
-Unknown cam, I think it may be a letter cam, maybe an F cam
-SVO heads, thought about going with AFR
-GT40 Tubular intake, thought about swapping to Holly Systemax
-BBK shorties, Dynomax mufflers
-BBK CAI
-Stock TB
-Stock converter
-Stock gears
-AOD trans
-24# injectors

Later down the road Im either going to spray or turbo. Now if I spray will I need a timing box to put two tunes on one for the my setup and one for nitrous? Im leaning more towards the turbo route but either will work, I found an On3 performance turbo kit through Jegs for about 1500 and then for supporting mods like the fuel pump and the MAF, one comes with 42# injectors the other with 60#. I don't know which I'll need.

Heres the times it ran the weekend I got it.
R/T .376, 60' 2.361, 1/4 15.295 @94.29
R/T .332, 60' 2.353, 1/4 15.490 @92.02
R/T .364, 60' 2.727, 1/4 15.502 @95.60

I would have figured with this set up it would be running alot better.
I raced my friends fox on the street. He has a LX anderson n-41 cam, 3.73, typhoon intake, GT40P heads and he ran 14.00. On the street from a 25mph roll I pulled him by a fender. I just want a good street car i drive it everyday and still go to the track if needed. I know the converter is really holding me back. I dont know what brand converter to go with. Would I need to swap the cam anyway so i know whats in it so i know how to get it tuned and what parts to go with it because thats about the only thing I dont know about this car is what cam is in it, and if it is a letter cam then I know i want to swap it for an Anderson or Comp.

Dude look at the sixty foot! The cars doing fine. It's the driver that is struggling. A drift shaft and a valve body??? I'd advice some slicks to get that sixty down!

Stock MAF and T/B the car literally goes nowhere from a stop, not even any tire spin at all. once it hits 2600-3000 it takes off

Maybe, that would also be driver error. Your better off letting a stock AOD shift on it's own.

Check your TV cable , sounds like its not set right. Do a search for directions. Before I swapped out my aod to a t5, my car was the same as yours at the track, real doggy off the line, then the cam started working at 3000 rpm and all was good. If you do any mods, gear swap should be first.
